Seeds and How They Travel is the first book in a series based on classes taught by Farmer Jay in his program Farmer Jay's Junior Sprouts. This book details how seeds naturally travel in nature letting your little one grasp an understanding on how nature works and plants use different methods to give their babies the best chance in life. Also included in this book are activity pages for additional fun learning.
Farmer Jay's Junior Sprouts is a course in agriculture designed to teach kids about growing food and nature that Farmer Jay has been teaching since 2010. In the Plant Anatomy book your child will learn about the six different parts of the plant and what each part does to help the plant grow. From the roots to the fruits your child will explore and learn with little Farmer Jay and his dog Moose.
Farmer Jay's Jr Sprouts is a kids program Farmer Jay developed in 2010 to teach children about agriculture, nature, and respect for food. Insects are a big part of gardening, but not all bugs are bad. In this unique approach Farmer Jay teaches the kids about insects and what they look like so your little farmer can accurately color and add each of the good and bad bugs to memory.
